Wine region equality.

Isn’t it odd that whilst producing such a prestigious product as Wine that many communities who live in these regions live in abject poverty?

This is the same story the world over in the modern climate with ‘Big Industry’ NOT using their profits to support the community that farms for them or labours for the profit that contributes to the global economy.

Having spent years traversing Europe on wine expeditions it has shamed me to see how communities live, barely making an income from the expensive wine they produce for us, the Western Consumer whilst ‘fat cat’ PLC’s contribute little to the local economy. Instead filtering the profits away from the community that supports them.

Any donations aim to redress this with 100% of contribution going towards the welfare and enhancement of the communities that surround wine growing areas. It is the skill of the farmer that makes the wine you drink what it is!
